Contains or equals?
Contains matches when a keyword appears inside the message. Equals requires the message to match the keyword after the tool’s normalization. Use contains for broad inquiries such as “prices”; use equals for a precise command or short menu choice.
Every message or one reply?
Match each new incoming message suits different questions over time, subject to cooldown. One confirmed reply per chat suits a single acknowledgment; Reset reply history makes a later new message eligible again. It does not replay old messages.
Cooldown and delay are different
Minimum minutes between replies limits how frequently a chat gets a response. Reply delay is the wait before a matched response is sent. Incoming messages within cooldown can be skipped, not queued.
Fallback with care
Reply when no keyword rule matches sends your default response for otherwise eligible new text. Use a helpful acknowledgment and a path to a human. Save settings and start the reply engine; do not assume Save starts it.
