Short answer
WhatsApp lets you open a chat with any number through a click-to-chat link, one number at a time. For a long list of customer numbers, a WhatsApp Sender extension such as MessageFlow Pro sends from WhatsApp Web to every number in your sheet without saving a single contact.
Why saving every number is a problem
Your phone contacts fill up with numbers you will message once, and syncing them takes time. Broadcast lists do not solve it either: a broadcast only reaches people who saved your number.
Before you start
Message people who expect to hear from you: customers, people who asked about your service, or leads who gave you their number. Say who you are in the first line.
Method 1: a click-to-chat link (one number)
Type wa.me/ followed by the number in international format, without +, spaces or the leading zero, then open the link on your phone or computer.
Example for an Egyptian number
01012345678 becomes wa.me/201012345678. The chat opens and you can send right away.
Add the message to the link
Add ?text= and your message, for example wa.me/201012345678?text=Hello, to open the chat with the text already written.
Method 2: WhatsApp Web on the computer
In Chrome, open web.whatsapp.com/send?phone=201012345678 while you are signed in to WhatsApp Web. It works like the link above, still one chat at a time.
Method 3: a whole list of customer numbers with MessageFlow Pro
When you have many numbers in a sheet, opening them one by one is not practical. MessageFlow Pro works inside WhatsApp Web in Chrome and sends from your own number.
1. Load the numbers
Upload an Excel, CSV, TXT or HTML file, or paste the numbers. Local Egyptian mobile numbers get the Egypt code automatically; numbers with an international code are recognised.
2. Check which numbers are on WhatsApp
Turbo Filter checks the list before the campaign and adds the valid numbers in one click, so you do not waste messages on numbers without WhatsApp.
3. Write the message and add files
Write your text and add an image, a video or a PDF such as a catalogue or a brochure.
4. Set the pace and the time
Choose a random delay between messages (for example 20 to 45 seconds), pauses between batches and a sending window, or schedule the campaign.
5. Start and read the report
Each number gets its own result: sent, failed or not on WhatsApp. You can pause, resume or stop at any moment.
Which method fits you
The right method depends on how many people you message and how often.
| Method | Save the number? | How many numbers | Files | Report | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Click-to-chat link (wa.me) | No | One at a time | Manually | No | One or two numbers |
| WhatsApp Web (send?phone=) | No | One at a time | Manually | No | A few numbers on the computer |
| Broadcast list | They must save yours | A limited list | Yes | No | Customers who saved your number |
| MessageFlow Pro | No | A whole sheet | Yes | Per number | Lists of customer numbers |
| WhatsApp Business API | No | Very large volumes | Yes | Yes | Companies with approved templates |
Habits that protect your number
No tool can promise that WhatsApp will never restrict a number. These habits lower the risk because they match what people expect.
Introduce yourself
A message from an unknown number gets more blocks. Your name, your business and why you are writing belong in the first line.
Start small
Send to part of the list first, read the replies, then continue.
Make stopping easy
Tell people how to stop the messages and respect it immediately.
